DAY 2:

We switched things up today from what we had scheduled.  We ended up going to the village church of the Fader's friend Edna.  This was going to be the last time they will attend the church before they head back to the states.  The service was awesome. Our group had to sing a song as our offering to the service.  Everyone was so friendly and welcoming.  They are working on completing their new building... but they still hold the services in there while they are finishing it.

After the service, it is custom to invite the visitors to their house for a meal.  We headed uphill to Edna's house where the women were busy preparing a delicious meal of rice, pork, and potatoes.  We spent 2 hours eating and chatting with her family.  They finish off the meal with a cup of chai which was pretty good.  We didn't get back home until about 3 pm, but the day was an awesome experience.  Below, you will see a picture of Edna's house and a group picture  we took before we left for home.
